FAQ

Questions, answered.

Short answers about who we are, how we work and how to take part.

What is Kamal Foundation?
Kamal Foundation is a philanthropic foundation. We work for social impact, community development and philanthropic initiatives, through education, skills development and social welfare.
What is the Foundation working towards?
A society where every person has the means and the dignity to flourish.
What does “For a Better World.” mean?
It is our philosophy: the responsibility to improve human lives. It guides what we do and how we do it.
How do you decide what to work on?
We start with the person, not the programme. Local people and local needs decide where we put our effort. You can read more on the Our approach page.
Do you work with partners?
We offer help as partnership, and we welcome people and organisations who share our principles. Tell us how you would like to be involved.
Can I volunteer?
If you have time or a skill to share, tell us. Volunteering here follows the same principles as the work: start with the person, and offer help as partnership.
How can I support the work?
Write to us and tell us how you would like to help. You can read how we think about accountability on the Transparency page.
How do I know where the money goes?
It should always be easy to find. The Transparency page is the one place for registrations, reports and financial statements, and you are welcome to ask us directly.
How can I get in touch?
Use the Contact page, which lists the ways to reach us.
